This is due to the fact that our number system is infinite. Zero is the smallest value with absolute value function. Division being and inverse operation would generate the largest possible value with the smallest input. The largest possible value does not exist so we state that by saying it’s undefine. Hence the closest we can have with a zero denominator is by taking limits. That’s why some mathematicians had reservations for differention…..
