It was initiated by Hadrat Mirza Nasir Ahmad when he visited several West African countries. The announcement of the scheme was made when he was in the Gambia.

Good answer pls note when given a wave equation you would mostly see sin with a phase angle with makes it a double angle and hence both are involve.
